Scratch To Win Terms and Conditions

  1. Australian Flooring Supplies (ABN 83 087 683 092), is the promoter (“Promoter”) of the R2000 Launch Competition (“Competition”)
  2. The Competition is available at all 20 Australian Flooring Supplies (AFS) branches (VIC, NSW, ACT and QLD) and via the AFS roving van in South Australia (Participating Branches).
  3. The Competition begins at 07:00AM AEST 01/07/19 and ends at 16:00 AEST 30/09/19 (“Competition Period”).
  4. The Competition is a game of chance and skill plays no part in determining the winners.
  5. Entry is open to residents of NSW, VIC, QLD, ACT and SA that are over the age of 18 years.
  6. Employees, immediate family members of employees, employees of any company associated with the Competition are ineligible to enter.
  7. The Entry Procedure is as follows:
    1. Purchase one or more buckets of ROBERTS R2000 Universal Flooring Adhesive (Qualifying Purchase) instore at one of the Participating Branches
    2. Participants will then be given one Scratch to Win card per every R2000 bucket purchased to scratch then and there to reveal the prizes they’ve won
    3. Participants will then be notified instantly as to what prize/s they have won and details on how to claim their prize/s
      1. Winners must immediately claim any Instant Win/s at the Participating Branch where they purchased the R2000
      2. Winners who have gained entry into the Major Prize Pool (1 x $3,000 Flight Centre Voucher) must fill in their entry form/s and drop it into that Participating Branch’s Entry Box. 
  8. For all states, a Qualifying Purchase not made in a Participating Branch, or made outside of the above-stated Competition Period, will be deemed invalid entries. Incomplete or indecipherable entry forms for the Major Prize Pool will be deemed invalid.
  9. During the Competition Period 2,581 prizes will be awarded, in accordance with the Entry Procedure. There will be 7,000 promotional Scratch to Win cards printed. Entrants will have a one in three chance to win an instant prize and a two in three chance to gain entry to the Major Prize Pool.

  11. In the event of a printing error, all existing claims for prizes and entitlements to claims will be met notwithstanding the advertised prize pool has been exceeded. Printing errors or other quality assurance matters outside of the control of an individual entrant will not be used as the sole basis for refusing to award a prize.
  12. The Major Prize Draw (1 x $3,000 Flight Centre Voucher) will take place on 07/10/19 at 16:00 AEST. Entry forms for all Participating Branches will be collated and drawn at the head office of AFS parent company QEP (68 Prosperity Way Dandenong South, Vic 3175)
  13. Information on how to enter and the prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Competition the entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).
  14. The Major Prize Winner will be contacted by phone and/or email AND will be announced via email and online at on 08/10/19.
  15. Notwithstanding the above, in the event that, for any reason whatsoever, the Major Prize winner fails to respond, within three months, to the E-mail or Phone notification of his/her winning, such winning entrant shall be deemed to have forfeited his / her claim to the prize and AFS shall not have any obligation whatsoever to compensate the winning entrant in any way.
  16. At the conclusion of the three-month grace period a redraw will take place at QEP head office (68 Prosperity Way Dandenong South, VIC) on 06/01/20 at 10am AEST. The redraw will feature all eligible participants, not including the winner who failed to respond. The process of notification for the new winner will be the same as previously stated with the winner to be published online at on 07/01/20
  17. AFS’s decision is final with respect to all matters relating to awarding of the Prizes and shall not be subject to review or appeal by any entrant or by any third party.
  18. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  19. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity and age) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the competition. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
  20. The Prizes are neither transferrable nor exchangeable and cannot be exchanged for money or money's worth.
  21. By entering the Competition each entrant unreservedly agrees to these terms and conditions which govern the Competition and the awarding of the Prizes.
  22. AFS reserves the right to alter these Terms and Conditions at any time and in its sole discretion subject to legislative approval.
  23. AFS reserves the right, at any time, to cancel, modify or suspend the Competition if, in its sole judgement, the Competition is not capable of being conducted as specified subject to legislative approval.
  24. AFS reserves the right to disclose winner’s name and identity unless the winner explicitly requests to remain anonymous.
  25. Entry into the Major Prize Draw constitutes as an opt-in to receive emails from AFS. The entrant can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. AFS will not share personal information collected as part of the Competition with any third party.
  26. These terms and conditions and any matters relating hereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
