MJS Floorcoverings has officially acquired Australian Flooring Supplies (AFS), as of 1st July 2025, a respected business in our flooring industry with a strong reputation for product quality and service. This acquisition is part of MJS’s national growth strategy. It expands our network, increases our capacity, and enhances our ability to deliver outstanding products and service to customers around Australia.

With AFS stores becoming part of the MJS network, you’ll have access to more locations, more product options, more stock on the ground, and the support of Australia’s largest independent flooring trade network — helping you get what you need, where and when you need it.

This isn’t just about size — it’s about service. By coming together, we can invest in better products, better promotions, and a better experience for you, our customer. Because when your business succeeds, so does ours.

Yes — all complementary AFS locations will transition to MJS Flooring Trade Warehouses over the coming months. New signage will be rolled out gradually. The AFS brands will be included in and will continue to be marketed with the MJS portfolio.

You’ll still be able to get the same great accessories and tools you rely on, including Roberts, Weathertex/Timtec, Polycure, Treadsafe NZ, and Oxtek. Over time, you might notice even more options hitting the shelves as we expand the range.

No — this acquisition is for accessories only. QEP’s flooring products will remain part of the QEP Australasia business and won’t be part of MJS.

For now, it’s business as usual. If any changes do happen down the track, we’ll let you know well in advance — and you’ll still be getting fair, competitive pricing and trade support.
